Hey folks, have you ever watched a long YouTube lecture and felt your focus slowly disappearing? You're not alone.
Online videos are great for learning, but lengthy lectures often make us miss the key points. Now, imagine turning any
YouTube lecture into neat handwritten notes within minutes, making revision faster, easier, and more effective. In
this video, I'll show you a completely free AI-powered method to convert YouTube lectures into handwritten notes.
So, stay with me till the end and let's get started. This is Parvez Durrani and [music] you
are watching Guru Tech Solutions. Let's say you have a YouTube lecture, a really long one. It covers fundamental
concepts about artificial intelligence and it's approximately 1 hour long, delivered by Apna College. It's quite a
comprehensive lecture and honestly, watching the entire video can reduce our focus and make it hard to retain all the
essential information. That's exactly why today we've planned to convert this long lecture into
handwritten notes, completely free. The very first step is to copy the URL of the lecture you want to convert into
handwritten notes. Once you have the URL copied, open any transcript extraction platform.
I'm going to search for YouTube transcript and as you can see, there are various options available. I'll go with
the top result, YouTube to Transcript. Now, my plan is to get the full transcription of the entire lecture. In
the input field, I'll paste the YouTube lecture link that I just copied. Once pasted, hit Get Free Transcript and it
will begin the process. As you can see, the entire transcript of the lecture has now been generated by this platform. Go
ahead and copy the full transcript. Now, head over to Claude AI. You can also use other AI tools like Chat GPT, but I'll
be using Claude for this step. Our goal here is to transform the transcription into detailed and
structured notes. Simply paste the transcript you just copied into the prompt bar.
Once done, we'll use our first prompt, which I'll provide in the video description, so you can access it and
customize it as needed. So now, with the transcript pasted and the prompt ready, hit enter and let it
begin the process. As you can see, a comprehensive, detailed, and well-structured set of
lecture notes is being created. Let's wait a moment for the process to complete.
And there we go. This is quite impressive. It covers various aspects of the lecture, starting from an
introduction to artificial intelligence, the AI hierarchy, and much, much more. Now, copy the detailed notes generated
by Claude AI. Now, let's go back and open Google Gemini. This time, we're using Google Gemini to
convert the structured Claude notes into handwritten style notes. Make sure you select Gemini's 3.0 flash model for the
best results. Next, the most important step is to choose canvas from these options.
Make sure to select it in order to complete the task. Next, paste the notes we just generated from Claude. Once
pasted, we'll input our second prompt. I'll also include this detailed prompt in the video description, so you can use
and modify it as per your needs. Once you've pasted the prompt, hit enter and it will begin the process.
Within just a few seconds, you'll start seeing the results coming in. And there we have it. Handwritten notes
generated by Google Gemini. As you can see, these handwritten style notes are quite comprehensive,
well-structured, and beautifully generated. At this point, you can regenerate the notes, preview them,
check the code, share the notes with your colleagues and friends, and even download them as an HTML file. Here is
the downloaded file. You can see the notebook has 12 different pages. An entire 1-hour lecture on the
introduction to artificial intelligence has now been successfully converted into detailed handwritten style notes. You
can go through each section one by one, and every section has been generated very well with clear and concise
information. It makes it so much easier to understand a lengthy lecture by converting it into stunning handwritten
notes completely free. You can also print your notes, save them for offline use, and explore many more options
available. So, by following these simple steps, you can generate handwritten notes
completely free using 100% free AI tools. Follow the instructions demonstrated in
this video. Try the process yourself, and let us know your experience in the comment section below.

This method saves you significant time by eliminating the need to rewatch lengthy videos and take manual notes. The handwritten style mimics physical notes, which has been shown to boost memory recall and make revision faster. Best of all, the entire process uses 100% free AI tools with no subscriptions required.
First, copy the video URL and use a free online tool to extract the full transcript. Second, paste the transcript into Claude AI with a specific prompt to generate structured bullet-point notes. Third, copy those notes into Google Gemini’s Canvas feature and use another prompt to instantly convert them into a handwritten style. Finally, preview the result, download it as an HTML file, and print or share it.
You need two AI tools: Claude AI (or ChatGPT) to generate structured notes from the transcript, and Google Gemini (specifically the Gemini 3.0 Flash model) to turn those notes into a handwritten style. The video states that both tools are used in their free tiers, requiring no paid subscriptions.
The Canvas feature in Google Gemini is essential because it is the specific environment where you paste the structured notes you created with Claude AI. By using the second prompt inside Canvas, Gemini instantly generates the handwritten-style notes, a function that may not work as effectively in the standard chat interface.
Yes, the method is fully customizable. The video provides both prompts in its description, and you can tweak them to adjust the density of the notes, the formatting, or the specific topics you want to focus on. It is recommended to test with shorter lectures first to refine your preferred prompt settings.
After Google Gemini generates the handwritten-style notes, you can preview them and check the code. The key step is to download them as an HTML file, which for a 1-hour lecture might create a 12-page notebook. You can then print this file for offline study or share it directly with classmates and friends.
